What apps can operate in the cloud?
Technically, you can use the cloud to run any program.
However, that does not imply that it is a good idea.
According to Pund-IT analyst Charles King, there is no incentive to run desktop disc defragmentation
or systems analysis software in the cloud since you want the programme to be installed on the desktop,
dedicated to the system, and with little to no latency.
More crucially, regulatory and compliance issues deter businesses from deploying specific cloud-based apps, particularly those that deal with sensitive consumer data.
According to IDC polls, the most popular uses of the cloud include server and storage capacity,
collaboration, personal and commercial apps, and IT administration.
