How to design for retina emails?
You can design all images as vectors that are in high res and use that as objects in PSD created with a canvas of 600px.
So that those vectors of high res can used in HTML to give retina effect.
Alternatively, you can design the PSD in 1200px width or with a resolution of 300dpi.
