What is DevOps in it from the internet of things (IoT)?
The biggest difference is that when applying DevOps to IoT developments, as opposed to pure-play IT,
where you only have to deal with software codes, you also have to take into account physical components, devices, and existing legacy systems.
Together, these factors add an extra layer of complexity to the overall automation process.
Additionally, there are particular difficulties at each stage of the project,
such as a fragmented development pipeline with very small teams,
automated build-verification-Test (BVT) plans, a greater reliance on legacy systems, an uncoordinated release schedule,
and the conversion of the entire production environment into a single code (“environment as a code”).
